Jon RudoeDigital and Technology Director
Jon joined Sainsbury’s in July 2011 as Director of Online, leading the Grocery and Non-Food Online businesses. In March 2013 he also took on responsibility for Digital – Sainsbury’s omnichannel strategy, building the Digital/User Experience team, Mobile Scan & Go, and leading the Digital Entertainments businesses. In March 2014 he was appointed to the Operating Board as Digital and Technology Director, combining his digital responsibilities with leadership of the IT function, reinforcing Sainsbury’s commitment to its digital future. Jon joined Sainsbury’s from Ocado where as Head of Retail he led marketing, user experience, trading, own brand and supply chain. Previously, Jon was a management consultant (Bain & Company) and worked in venture capital. Jon has an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School.
