4. Making A Positive Difference To Our Community

Our stores are at the heart of the communities they serve. For us, this is not only about providing great service and quality products, it's also about making a positive difference to our communities and being a good neighbour.

There are practical and economic aspects to this, as well as charitable ones. We provide local jobs for local people, we buy from local suppliers and we help to protect the local environment and make it safer. We support good causes through our Active Kids and Local Charity of the Year schemes and our longstanding partnership with Comic Relief.
