Our bloggers jumped at the chance to create some recipes for us for #OrganicSeptember using our SO Organic range and were pretty surprised to see how much we do! Why not give SO Organic a go with some of these tasty recipes:
Beetroot, Goats Cheese and Walnut Salad
Chiara is sure that beetroot, goat’s cheese and walnuts were put on this earth to be eaten together and we couldn’t agree more. This is a perfect autumnal salad with a delicious balsamic and honey dressing.
Seven Vegetable and Sausage Hotpot
Now we know that hotpots lend themselves to being full of lots of tasty vegetables, but Michelle has really pulled out all the stops with the seven vegetable extravaganza!

Camilla is trying to cut down on the meat her family eats each week and uses mushrooms and walnuts as a great protein substitute.

In Lucy’s own words: this is a “bang everything in, kind of a recipe which makes you look good with minimal effort”. We like the sound of that. Who wouldn’t??
Bacon, Balsamic and Black Pudding Risotto
We got pretty excited by this recipe when Helen told us about it, this is the ultimate comfort food and she’s a pro at cooking risottos so this recipe is well worth a go.
Bolognese Pasta Bake
This is cheesy-meaty-pasta-goodness all at its best. Julie says it is a family favourite and we can see why! It might be a simple recipe but it looks warming and full of rich flavour.
Easy Osso Buco Risotto
Matt may have had a bit of a moment watching Jamie Oliver make the ultimate cheese sandwich but luckily it didn’t derail him creating this hearty risotto. The beef takes three hours to cook but it will be worth it!
Lamb and Spinach Karahi
Clare’s Lamb and spinach Karahi is the perfect dish to put on at lunch and leave gently cooking away until you are ready to eat it. Along with a glass (or two) of red, like Clare’s other half (aka Mr T).
Walnut, Stilton and Mushroom Risotto Cakes
We are pretty partial to an Arancini so it goes without saying that we are intrigued and excited by these cakes. Think fish cake, minus the fish and substitute the potato with risotto rice… ok not quite the same as a fish cake but we know you get what we mean.
Chicken and Mushroom Risotto
Chicken risotto up next from Gemma which describes as a bit of a winter Paella and we think she could be on to something. She’s added some chicken in to an existing mushroom recipe for a chunkier, meatier style. We like.
