Celebrating Christmas in June might sound premature but in fact it’s a major focus for the business all year round, as a huge amount of planning goes into what is both our most important trading time as well as our customers’ favourite season.
Tomorrow is the first chance to showcase our Sainsbury’s Christmas 2016 food, drink, fashion and lifestyle ranges to media.
Susi Richards, Head of Product Development at Sainsbury’s says, “We know our customers want to really impress during this special time and so alongside our Sainsbury’s development chefs, we spend a lot of time looking at the latest food trends emerging from across the world - be it from restaurants, street food or social media - to create some stand-out ‘talking pieces’, such as our truffled mac’n’cheese bites and luxurious lobster & king prawn brioche rolls.”
