Sainsbury’s has today confirmed three new hires to its Marketing leadership team.
- Mark Given will be joining Sainsbury's in January in the newly created role of Head of Brand Communications from his role as Head of Sponsorship at O2. Mark previously worked at Heineken UK and Procter & Gamble.
- Alex Owens is joining Sainsbury's as Head of Insight from his role as Head of Strategy at Lloyds Banking Group. Alex previously worked at Capital One, BSkyB, the BBC and Millward Brown. He will also join in January 2013.
- Sophia Weir is joining Sainsbury's as Category Manager - Advertising and Media from her role as Business Director at Mindshare. Sophia previously worked at Budweiser and Starcom MediaVest Group. She will also join in January 2013.
