137,000 Sainsbury’s store colleagues to receive 4% pay rise
Sainsbury’s will award 137,000 colleagues working in stores across the country an industry-leading pay increase of 4%, taking Sainsbury’s standard rate of pay to £7.36 per hour, effective from 30 August. This is the highest pay increase for store colleagues the company has awarded in over a decade.

Sainsbury’s cuts the price of diesel and unleaded petrol
From tomorrow, 27th August, Sainsbury’s is cutting the prices of unleaded petrol by up to 2 pence per litre and diesel by 1 pence per litre, across its 300 forecourts. This will give excellent value for millions of motorists across the UK, ahead of their Bank Holiday weekend travels.
