First Argos stores open in Sainsbury’s supermarkets
The first two Argos digital stores are opening today (Wednesday 27th May) in Sainsbury’s supermarkets in North Cheam in Surrey and Nantwich in Cheshire, bringing extra choice and convenience to customers in the local communities.

David Keens former CFO at Next plc joins Sainsbury's board
J Sainsbury plc today announces that David Keens will join the Board as a non-executive director from 29 April 2015. This follows the previously announced retirement of Gary Hughes who will step down at the company’s AGM on 8 July 2015.

Seven British farmers start the first Sainsbury’s farmers and growers scholarship programme today. In partnership with Imperial College London, the next six months offers them a unique opportunity to study, research and analyse soil health, whilst learning how soil management can be developed to enhance yield, quality and sustainability.
