Sainsbury’s in… Nine Elms
Sainsbury’s is working with Barratt London and L&Q to deliver, 737 new homes, a new 80,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s store and 27,000 sq ft of local shops, restaurants and office space in Nine Elms. The scheme is part of the wider transformation of Nine Elms on the Southbank into Central London’s newest district, located between Chelsea Bridge and Lambeth Bridge.
We are working with Lambeth Council, Transport for London (TfL) and other landowners in the area over the proposed extension of the Northern Line.
Part of our site, where our Petrol Filling Station is currently located, has been identified as the location for the proposed Nine Elms Station. As such we are unable to provide a Sainsbury’s petrol station as part of the temporary offer or our final plans for the site. However there is a petrol station a few hundred yards further down Wandsworth Road, towards Wandsworth, and also on Albert Embankment, to the east of Vauxhall Cross.
